ECA stands for European Consortium for Accreditation in higher education. Its principal objective is to promote mutual recognition of the decisions about accreditation and the quality of institutions and study programs as a tool for encouraging the recognition of higher education qualifications and the mobility of students and graduates.
It is also responsible for disseminating good accreditation practices and supporting the internationalisation of higher education institutions and students.
