Schuman-Fulbright is a program financed by the US State Department and the European Commission.
It provides financing to highly qualified professionals and academics of distinction to provide specialised courses and to carry out research projects in any field of bilateral EU-USA relations, at master’s, doctorate and post-doctorate levels.
Its management is delegated to the Fulbright Commission and it is the only multi-lateral Fulbright program that allows applications from any EU citizen to carry out projects in any location of the USA, and vice versa, provided that the project relates to socio-economic or political issues of mutual interest. Although there are university lecturers and researchers in the program, it also welcomes numerous professionals from other spheres.
