EURASHE, promoter of excellence in the Bologna Process

Europa

The European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE) brings together universities, polytechnic institutions, colleges and postgraduate schools, such as university research centres, whose mission is to train high-level professionals.

EURASHE was founded at a meeting in Patras (Greece) in 1990 with a mission to improve the excellence of higher education in institutions in EU Member States and other European countries.
It also seeks to:

  • Increase transnational cooperation between its members.
  • Provide a platform for exchanging perspectives and experiences in higher education.
  • Promote cooperation between institutions inside and outside the European Union.
  • Create strong ties between organisations such as the EUA, ESIB and UNESCO.
