The Bologna Follow-Up Group (BFUG) is the team to which European education ministers have entrusted the management of the Bologna Process between ministerial meetings. The BFUG prepares the work plan, which comprises a series of seminars, various working groups and other relevant activities for all participants in the process.
Although the Bologna Process is not an EU program, the EU has undoubtedly provided enormous support since the beginning.
When the Bologna Follow-Up Group (BFUG) was established, the European Union became a member under the same conditions as participating countries.
